Job Description
As the Technical Project Analyst, you will assist staff in development of engineering project plans, ensure the plans are robust and current through analysis with staff, conduct amalgamation and analysis of the project schedules, and develop reports as requested.
You will work with the Engineering Senior Leadership Team to conduct scenario analysis and reprioritization management. You will coach engineers of all experiences to provide your experience and knowledge of handling difficult challenges to projects and their schedules.

Responsibilities:
- Supports the Director/Sr. Manager by providing key project support to address issues as part of a team of engineers and management professionals
- Works closely with staff to drive complex project timeline assignments by publishing key deliverable schedules and helping to reduce roadblocks to execution
- Provide key staff training and support on developing project timelines in Smartsheet
- Ensures all data for assigned projects is entered promptly in project monitoring systems and ensures this data is always up to date and accurate
- Communicates regularly to leaders through automated reports and tools
- Works with other analysis to implement, improve and automate reporting using Microsoft Power Suite of tools, including Project Online and Smartsheet(preferred)
- Assist in the technical process of securing outside vendors as needed for development of tool set for project analysis
- Bachelor’s degree, and 5+ years in the engineering project management field
- Vigorous attention to detail with demonstrated strategic thinking and planning skills required
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills including listening, written and verbal communication, with ability to clearly and professionally communicate with employees and leadership at all levels of the organization
- Demonstrated project management skills and real-world experience managing projects to tight timelines and firm deadlines
- Expert knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office (emphasis on Excel, Project, PowerPoint and Outlook). Excel experience should include knowledge of: pivot tables, formulas, scenario analysis and spreadsheet modeling.
- Experience with Smartsheet Portfolios, Dashboards, Projects Plans and Resource Management
- A good sense of judgment, strong confidence and a high degree of confidentiality required
