Job Description

For this role, our client is seeking a dynamic administrator who will help them evolve their administrative support model. This person will work on behalf of all Commercial team members, regardless of level, to lead purchase order and contract processes.

While this is an entry-level role, there will be plenty of opportunity for skill growth and to demonstrate initiative and creativity. This person will be an inaugural team member to this new administrative team, as we launch this new way of working, and such, will need someone who is comfortable with agility and speaking up when they have a new idea that can make an impact.

This is a temporary position based in client's Cambridge, MA office.

Responsibilities:
  • Help enable and augment the company’s self-service model for specific administrative functions
  • Establish processes that enable cost and time efficiencies, related to administrative tasks
  • Assume accountability for end-to-end processing of POs, preferred vendors, and travel arrangements (domestic/international)
  • Establish ways of collaborating with teammates and Commercial colleagues
  • Understand internal processes and policies, to serve as a base of knowledge when establishing complementary processes
  • Serve as a point of contact to answer questions and guide colleagues
  • Analyze needs and problems, and determine approach and priority in collaboration with senior leaders, their teams and administrative colleagues across functions
  • Support Commercial Leadership and Admins with meeting and events
  • Additional duties as assigned

Requirements / Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant administrative support experience
  • Experience in Microsoft Office and Agiloft
  • High School Diploma
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Proven ability to take initiative and exercise good judgment
  • Demonstrated ability to work manage multiple projects at a time
  • Demonstrated ability, or willingness to evolve responsibilities as needs shift
