Marketing Operations Associate
Job Description
Reporting to the Executive Director, Commercial Effectiveness, the Marketing Operations Associate supports the compliant and efficient commercialization of client’s products. This role is responsible for executing day-to-day marketing operations processes and managing associated systems to ensure adherence to internal policies and external regulatory requirements. Key areas of responsibility include contract administration, Fair Market Value (FMV) analysis and tracking, promotional material lifecycle management, and inventory/logistics support for both digital and print assets. The role ensures that all commercial activities are documented, monitored, and reported in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and company standards governing the pharmaceutical industry.

Requirements / Qualifications:
The Associate will serve as a key contributor within the Commercial Effectiveness team, partnering cross-functionally with Marketing, Regulatory, Legal/Compliance, and other stakeholders to facilitate operational excellence and support commercialization efforts. Travel: Up to 20% (domestic)
Key Responsibilities:
Marketing Operations & Compliance (1/3)
- Develop deep knowledge of company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) governing marketing operations and ensure adherence
- Execute operational processes in alignment with SOPs, regulatory requirements, and compliance standards
- Identify process improvement opportunities and contribute to optimization of marketing operations workflows
- Change management support for processes and operations that impact the commercial organization
- Support end-to-end lifecycle management of promotional materials, including review, approval, production, distribution, and retirement
- Partner with Marketing to manage print production, inventory, and distribution logistics to ensure appropriate field access
- Maintain digital and physical repositories of promotional materials, ensuring version control, compliance, and expiration tracking
- Compliantly manage labeling requirements for all promotional assets
- Facilitate the approval and tracking of all commercial contracts
- Manage the sponsorship request and approval processÂ
- Facilitate FMV assessments for healthcare professional engagements, ensuring adherence to established thresholds
- Ensure accurate tracking and reporting of materials and activities that constitute Transfer of Value (TOV) to healthcare professionals
- Partner closely with Compliance to ensure alignment with federal, state, and local transparency reporting requirements
- Collaborate with Commercial leads to support Key Opinion Leader (KOL) engagement logistics and operational execution
Requirements / Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Minimum of 2+ year of experience in Marketing Operations, Regulatory Operations, or a similar role within a regulated industry (pharmaceutical/biotech preferred)
- Experience with marketing promotional digital and print inventory management process and logistics
- Foundational understanding of U.S. laws and regulations governing pharmaceutical commercialization (e.g., FDA, OPDP, Sunshine Act)
- Strong organizational and project management skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Analytical mindset with the ability to apply structured, logical thinking to complex processes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
