Manager, Global Compensation
Job Description
The Global Compensation Manager is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing global compensation programs that support business objectives while ensuring competitive, equitable, and compliant pay practices across multiple countries.
This role supports key compensation initiatives, including the annual compensation planning process, maintenance of global salary structures and job architecture, and provides day-to-day compensation support to HR and the broader business. The position requires advanced proficiency in Workday HCM and is responsible for maintaining the integrity and accuracy of compensation data within the system.
In partnership with Finance, the Global Compensation Manager will also oversee and provide monthly workforce analytics, as well as develop ad hoc compensation and workforce models to support business needs and decision-making.
This position will report to the Associate Director, Total Rewards & HR Technology and work out of the Waltham, MA office. (Expect a minimum number of in-office days. Specific days spent in the office should be determined in conjunction with your manager.)

Key Responsibilities:
Compensation (85%)
- Manage day-to-day global compensation needs including benchmarking roles, preparing all global salary offers, partnering with TA/HR on compensation questions and supporting our HR Service Delivery as Tier 1 compensation support. Â
- Support the mid-year and annual compensation planning activities, including merit increases, promotions, market adjustments, and compensation analyses to ensure equitable and competitive pay practices. Lead all system testing to ensure readiness and data integrity.Â
- Support, implement and maintain global compensation frameworks, including salary structures, global job leveling, job architecture, compensation grades, and compensation grade profiles in HRIS System.Â
- Conduct market benchmarking and global salary surveys to support compensation decisions and maintain market competitiveness.
- Maintain compensation data within HRIS systems, ensuring data accuracy, regulatory compliance, and effective administration of compensation programs.
- Prepare compensation-related communications and training materials for managers and employees.
- Develop and maintain compensation guidelines and standard operating procedures, as needed.Â
- Collaborate with HRIS, Finance, and Legal to ensure accurate implementation and compliance of compensation programs.Â
- Provide support on additional HR or compensation-related projects as needed.
- Partner with Finance monthly to provide workforce data metrics; including building ad-hoc workforce analysis models as needed.
- Responsible for auditing data in HRIS system on a bi-weekly basis, updating discrepancies and identifying controls to mitigate issues.Â
- Provide administrative and analytical support to HR COEs and G&A team on ad-hoc data requests including global headcount data, attrition data, data mapping for HR related surveys, historical trending, deadline reporting, etc.Â
- Partner with HR and Cross functional teams on ad-hoc requests

- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years’ experience in Human Resources and/or CompensationÂ
- Advanced Proficiency in Workday HCM
- Advanced Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
- Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, imbedded formula writing and data transformation skills
- Demonstrated understanding of Human Resources fundamentals, including performance management, employee relations, talent acquisition, and compensation planning
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Proven excellent customer service skills and ability to be flexible, a team playerÂ
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills outstanding organizational skills required; ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing priorities
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and maturity
