Job Description

Under minimal supervision, manage demand and supply of Pre-Clinical and Phase I Clinical Programs. The position requires project management skills including time line generation, action tracking, meeting facilitation, effective communication skills and good documentation practices.

Responsibilities will include gathering demand requirements and driving production of Pre-Clinical and Clinical Investigational products, as well as tracking usage and inventory. Ability to communicate across a wide range of staff levels. Develop effective relationships with partners in the supply chain.

Responsibilities include:
  • External Warehouse Coordination: Manage and oversee planning activities with our external warehouse, ensuring alignment with overall supply chain strategies and operational goals.
  • Logistics Management: Develop and implement logistics strategies to efficiently manage the flow of goods from suppliers to customers, including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management.
  • Inventory Control: Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels are maintained, minimizing excess and obsolescence while meeting demand requirements.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance supply chain efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service levels.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement. Prepare and present reports to senior management.
  • Supplier Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating terms and conditions to ensure the best possible pricing, quality, and delivery performance.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including procurement, production, and sales, to ensure supply chain activities align with business objectives.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure all supply chain activities comply with relevant regulations and industry standards. Identify and mitigate potential risks to the supply chain.
  • Maintain ERP Master Data to ensure accurate planning.

Basic Qualifications    
  • Master degree OR Bachelor degree and 2 years of experience OR Associate degree and 6 years of experience OR High school diploma / GED and 8 years of experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business
  • 3 + years of work experience in the planning, manufacturing and global distribution of medicinal products
  • 2 + years organizational or program management (leading teams, cross-functional problem solving, performance management, budget oversight, process development and improvement)
  • 3+ years of supply chain management using SAP (logistics, supply planning, demand management)
  • APICS CPIM/CIRM certification
