Job Description
As an individual contributor, this Instructional Designer position will have minimal supervision that will collaborate with subject matter experts to design, develop, and implement instructional materials.
This role will be responsible for creating engaging content that meets learning objectives using authoring tools and for delivery in a corporate learning management system (LMS). You will work closely with training content experts and other instructional design team members to deliver exceptional learning experiences.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop simplified instructional materials for online courses that will enhance staff comprehension, compliance and inspection readiness for clinical trials
- Design and revise storyboards, simulations, and multimedia elements that enrich the learning experience.
- Ensure alignment of instructional content with learning objectives, design principles, and best practices for effective online learning.
- Manage timelines and coordinate with project teams to ensure timely delivery of course materials.
- Engage with cross-functional teams, including project managers, through meetings and one-on-one discussions to achieve project goals.
- Work effectively within a team of instructional designers on fast-moving projects with evolving needs.
Requirements / Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in instructional design, instructional technology, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years in instructional design with a focus on creating interactive content.
- Proficiency in authoring tools like Articulate Rise & Storyline, Captivate, and Adobe Illustrator.
- Exceptional communication and strong project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects in a cross-functional environment.
- Preferred experience in biotech/pharmaceutical/GxP or other highly regulated industries.
- Demonstrated experience in developing training content.
- Mastery of tools like Articulate Rise & Storyline, Captivate, and Adobe Illustrator.
- Excellent communication skills with strength in project management.
