Job Description


Play a key role in the maintenance and enhancement of Commercial IT systems. The ideal candidate will be experienced in leading technical implementations, Business Analysis, Project Management, Release Management and Production Support for all Commercial IT systems.

This role will be instrumental in ensuring that requirements from the business for Commercial IT systems are appropriately translated into technical solutions and that systems are functioning per requirements.

Responsibilities:
  • Document business and functional/technical requirements, and lead requirements discussions for all releases related to Customer Engagement
  • Send detailed meeting minutes, with action items and deadlines
  • Work with vendor partners to perform requirements walkthrough, technical reviews, and testing
  • Ensure that solutions meet business requirements end to end, are scalable, and follow application specific best practices
  • Hold prototyping demo sessions with the business
  • Prepare UAT test scenarios for all releases, and manage UAT execution by coordinating with business users and working with vendor partners to resolve issues
  • Analyze the impact of system changes on downstream systems, such as integrations and reports, and coordinate such changes with the data management team
  • Work with the data management team on data integration requirements between systems and the data warehouse
  • Ensure timely support of production issues by performing initial analysis and triaging issues, logging new tickets, testing, change management and communicating with business users
  • Project Manage initiatives
  • Update UGNX Commercial IT Lead on progress, issues, questions, and concerns in a timely manner

Requirements / Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Information Technology or related field
  • 10+ years of relevant experience working with IT business applications
  • 8+ years of experience with Veeva CRM, including best practices, is a must
  • Excellent analytical skills required for requirements analysis and troubleshooting/triaging of issues
  • Ability to effectively document/communicate business requirements to vendor partners required
  • Experience with testing applications based on requirements needed
  • Experience with integrating Veeva CRM with other applications required
  • Experience with other Commercial IT systems (e.g., PromoMats), and processes preferred
  • Experience in pharmaceutical domain preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy and is highly organized
  • Highly self-motivated and adopts a results driven approach
  • Attention to detail is required
  • 1 plus year of Project Management experience preferred
  • Basic understanding of out of box applications and databases preferred
