Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and self-driven Infrastructure Engineer (Contractor) to support and enhance the cloud and identity infrastructure. This role requires deep technical expertise in Microsoft 365, AWS, Okta, and server and network administration, with a strong focus on security, scalability, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage Office 365 solutions including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, and Microsoft 365 security tools.
- Configure and maintain Okta SSO, SCIM, and identity lifecycle management processes.
- Support and administer AWS services such as EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, EFS, ECS, Route 53, and Storage Gateway.
- Lead and execute cloud migration projects from on-premises or third-party platforms.
- Configure and manage Microsoft Intune for device and application management.
- Provide tailored Office 365 recommendations based on client environments and business needs.
- Guide best practices for security, governance, and compliance within Microsoft 365.
- Conduct training and knowledge transfer sessions for IT teams and end-users.
- Troubleshoot and manage Office 365 services, including Azure AD, email security, and collaboration tools.
- Implement and manage RBAC, MFA, and conditional access policies.
- Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate administrative tasks.
- Utilize Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps) to streamline workflows and business processes.
- Integrate Office 365 with third-party applications and enterprise systems.
- Administer and maintain Windows and Linux servers in hybrid environments.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience with Office 365, Microsoft Intune, and Azure AD.
- Hands-on expertise with Okta SSO, SCIM, and identity lifecycle management.
- Strong knowledge of AWS services and cloud infrastructure best practices.
- Proficiency in Windows and Linux server administration.
- Solid understanding of networking concepts and experience with Meraki.
- Scripting and automation skills using PowerShell and Power Platform.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
