Job Description


Play a key role in the maintenance and enhancement of Commercial IT systems. The ideal candidate will be experienced in leading technical implementations, Business Analysis, Project Management, Release Management and Production Support for all Commercial IT systems.

This role will be instrumental in ensuring that requirements from the business for Commercial IT systems are appropriately translated into technical solutions and that systems are functioning per requirements.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead requirements discussions with business stakeholders for Customer Engagement (Marketing, Field Teams) needs. Document business and functional/technical requirements
  • Hold prototyping demo sessions with the business
  • Provide oversight of vendor partners by performing requirements walkthrough, technical solution reviews, and testing. Ensure that solutions meet business requirements end to end, are scalable, and follow Veeva CRM/PromoMats best practices for configuration and implementation
  • Analyze the impact of system changes on downstream systems, such as integrations and reports, and coordinate such changes with the data management team
  • Prepare UAT test scenarios for all releases, and manage UAT execution by coordinating with business users and working with vendor partners to resolve issues
  • Perform Project Management activities and ensure initiatives are completed per plan
  • Provide oversight to maintenance of Veeva CRM and PromoMats solutions by ensuring timely support of production issues. Perform initial analysis and triage issues, log new tickets, test, handle change management, and communicate with business users
  • Update Commercial IT Lead on progress, issues, questions, and concerns in a timely manner

Requirements / Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Information Technology or related field
  • 10+ years of relevant experience working with IT business applications
  •  Minimum 5 years of hands-on technical experience as a Veeva CRM admin is a must.  This must include Veeva CRM admin experience including configuration, custom code development, deployment activities and understanding of data model
  • Veeva-CRM certification is required
  • Ability to effectively document/communicate business requirements to vendor partners
Preferred Qualifications:
  • PromoMats admin experience
  • Experience with testing applications based on requirements needed
  • Experience with integrating Veeva CRM with other applications
  • 1 plus year of Project Management experience
  • Basic understanding of out-of-box applications and databases
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy and is highly organized
  • Highly self-motivated and adopts a results driven approach
