The Senior Electrical Engineer coordinates with engineers, customers, and others to discuss existing or potential engineering projects and products.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Design, implement, maintain, and improve electrical instruments, equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, and domestic purposes.
  • Operate computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform engineering tasks.
  • Direct and coordinate manufacturing, construction, installation, maintenance, support, documentation, and testing activities to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and customer requirements.
  • Perform detailed calculations to compute and establish manufacturing, construction, and installation standards and specifications.
  • Inspect completed installations and observe operations, to ensure conformance to design and equipment specifications and compliance with operational and safety standards.
  • Comply with company policies and procedures regarding Employee health, safety, and conduct.

REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS:
  • BS degree in Engineering or equivalent
  • Minimum of 5-7 years’ experience as Design Engineer in electronics.
  • Strong analog and digital engineering ability.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Strong communication skills in email, telephone, report, publish presentation, and documentation with multiple teams
  • Experience in technical development of designs, systems, algorithms, data flows, and products
  • Experience with Vital Signs technologies (NIBP and SpO2) Experience in user interfaces for the presentation of medical data including numerical measurements and waveform data points
  • Experience with tools for data analysis and algorithm development like MATLAB
  • Ability to write software is a plus.
  • Physical demands: While performing duties of job, employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
  • Work environment: The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
