Job Description


Our client is looking to add a Product Manager/Sr. Product Manager to their team on a permanent basis. Reporting to the Director, Marketing, the person in this role will focus on client’ s Primary Care brands.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with Marketing Leads to develop and implement Cross-functional Operating Plans
  • Develop and lead Medical Marketing activities, including plan development, KOL engagement, speaker bureau management
  • Develop and manage promotional tactics and programs for Primary Care brands
  • Effectively and consistently execute multiple, simultaneous projects and manage resources to ensure deliverables are on time, on budget, and on strategy
  • Ensure synergistic alignment with in-line brand strategies and execution
  • Drive cross-functional alignment through all key internal and external stakeholders
  • Effectively manage the review and approval process for all Marketing-related content
  • Collaborate with Sales Training, Leadership Development & Sales to ensure optimal pull-through of all strategic initiatives
  • Negotiate with vendors and partners to drive optimal ROI
  • Monitor industry trends, market research and Sales Force feedback
  • Provide input into necessary adjustments to marketing message and tactics based on facts, experience, and logical assumptions, taking into consideration opportunity for gain, resources, constraints risk/reward and organizational values

Requirements / Qualifications:
  • BA/BS in related field. MBA a plus
  • 4+ years of experience in marketing/sales in a related industry. 2+ years if MBA
  • 2+ years pharmaceutical sales experience
  • Ability to communicate product positioning and key market strategies effectively
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint
  • Must have strong planning, project management, communication, and organization skills
  • Understanding of the basic principles of brand management, including brand positioning, messaging & overall campaign development
  • Team orientation a must
